Jazz Alivo!
We intend to go out to visit jazz clubs over a wide area mainly monthly
Early Sept we are at the George Silsoe
End of September Lansdowne Club Luton
October we are at the Cross Keys Pulloxhill
November . The 100 Club Oxford St when we hope to also see Oxford St Lights.
I am willing to take names and if there is space on a given venue then we will try to accommodate them.
We have agreed a car sharing system with a charge of 5p per mile per passenger which every one has agreed to.
It is impossible to give dates on some occasions until the last moment.

The first Jazz meeting took place on Sunday 26th June
We all headed out in 4 car convoy to the Cricket Pavilion in Henlow a very very nice venue
It was a packed Audience and every one enjoyed 3 hours of Trad Jazz especially Phyllis Wren who won 1st prize, which was a free ticket for the next jazz meeting at Henlow
Phyllis gave a Little speech extolling the virtues of U3A which went down very well.
We were all made very welcome and we have been invited back to their Christmas Knees up
All in all a very auspicious start and every one is looking forward to our next meeting at the George Silsoe.
