''The information I have at present is that owing to the changes made regarding the financial conditions imposed on Barnfield College by the government and local education committees that the U3A does not now enjoy the low rates of the past, but have to pay the going rate less 50% discount. I therefore tell any members who may be interested to contact Barnfield Reception to see if there are any vacancies in the subject they are interested in, at the same time impressing on Barnfield that they are members of the U3A''
